I look forward to meet you for an informal dinner in a nice water-front location in Valletta Waterfront on Wednesday before Easter, 23/03/2016, at 1 pm.
Bistro 516 also offers a selection of vegetarian and gluten-free dishes for any special requirements, or you can opt for a drink.

I would have liked to meet Proz.com members but why choose the Easter weekend when most take the opportunity to go away for a long weekend or short break? Too late to cancel now. I will be away, sorry though I would have liked to come. Anyway, good luck.

Thanks for pointing out location is Valletta Waterfront, instead of Sliema. Anyway, the attached map shows the restaurant's address.
I hope you can review your plans and join this powwow. I shifted the date to Wednesday, hoping you and other translators will find it easier to come, before leaving for Easter.
Actually, I cannot move it earlier as I won't be in Malta!

Hi Marco, no sorry, leaving just that day and I cannot cancel flight especially -I can cancel the hotels as booked with 'free cancellation'-besides the fact that I didn't have a holiday in summer and I hate Good Friday music-you cannot get away from it, so I make it a point to go away. Anyway, good for you for organising it there and good luck-will be there in spirit though. Enjoy Malta, lovely weather, beaches, places to visit, nightlife, people from all places and lots of languages spoken well... it's a great idea to organize a powwow during your Easter holidays in Malta.
Recently I started to consider Malta as a possible destination for my summer holidays: a very near country where to have the possibility to enjoy a beautiful sea and - in the while - study English for me and my sons. I had in mind a short visit to look for the right house and to understand if really Malta offers good English summer schools (for my sons and me)...

It seems a very cheap flight is available from Bologna in those days, I'll have a look and let you know ASAP.
So why not? We could follow up the interesting conversations about translation market started in Modena conference. Have you already sent a message to our colleagues in Malta?

Great idea. I have been campaigning here for real Professional interpreters for ages, so maybe we could come up with great ideas. I am fed up with those amateurs unprofessional people claiming to be able to ranslate into and from all the languages and then having to proofread illegible texts!
