Kudoz gives a larger number of answers than those visible

I noticed it yesterday, that I could see two answers for a question and Kudoz counted three. Today it is even better: E-D question beat displays two answers but Kudoz counts five!
Did I miss some important lesson in maths (most likely), are there hidden answers (likely) or is really something wrong (most unlikely?

Could you please check this?

Some answers might be invisible May 29, 2003

Hi Claudia,

Some answers, made invisible by the answerer her/himself for ex., are visible to staff and ProZ.com moderators. I presume the number count does not consider the hidden/visible option.

The higher counts are only given on the question page itself, on the Kudoz survey (last column) the correct numbers are given.
At least as far as I can see ...
