Hi once again.
I have just tried to grade a question using KudoZ Beta, but there are major bugs in this right now.
The most serious bug is that my feedback wasn't recorded. I like to leave detailed feedback, and on this occasion spent a minute or so explaining my choice of answer, only to have it not recorded! There was a message saying "Oops! Your feedback wasn't recorded. This has been reported to the KudoZ administrator." Or something like that.

I have just tried to grade a question using KudoZ Beta, but there are major bugs in this right now.
The most serious bug is that my feedback wasn't recorded. I like to leave detailed feedback, and on this occasion spent a minute or so explaining my choice of answer, only to have it not recorded! There was a message saying "Oops! Your feedback wasn't recorded. This has been reported to the KudoZ administrator." Or something like that.
Another bug is that although I have graded the question, and the points are showing for the winning answer, the question is still classified as being ungraded! The winning answerer's name and points have not appeared in the top right-hand corner as they should. I am also still getting the message about more than 24 hours having passed and that I should grade an answer if it is acceptable. That message should not be there given that I have graded it. The question is also showing up as ungraded in my Questions Asked history.
On the plus side, because the question is still in "ungraded" mode, I was able to add notes and leave my feedback that way.
So while things are coming along nicely insofar as asking and answering questions go, there are major flaws to be addressed in the grading process of the KudoZ Beta design. Right now, the thing just simply isn't working properly, and for today at least I'll be using KudoZ Standard mode to grade my other open questions.

I switched into KudoZ standard mode for the question I cited in my last post, and lo and behold, there was my feedback! So that was something. I was also able to add the term to the glossary.
But when I switch back to the same question in KudoZ Beta mode, the feedback doesn't show and all the other problems I mentioned still exist, except that the term is now in the glossary.

I tried to close a question without grading it, because I didn't get any satisfactory answers despite having had it open for several days. While I was able to close it up to a point, the reason I stated wasn't displayed when I returned to the main page of the question. Also, when I toggled to KudoZ Standard mode and then back to KudoZ Beta mode in the same question, it relapsed into ungraded status.
I notice that the question I reported on earlier is now showing as being graded in KudoZ Beta mode, complete with the feedback I left - so whoever fixed that up, thank you. However, the question is still listed as being ungraded in my KudoZ Questions Asked history, as is the one I tried to close without grading (which is a G-E query about "Patrizenlamellen").
For now I'm still going to use Standard mode for grading, But I'm finding the Beta mode is, uh, getting better all the time, and am tending to use that most of the time for asking and answering questions. I really do think it will be excellent once the bugs are ironed out and one or two Standard features (like red colour coding for "disagree" grades and a different colour for replies to grades) restored.
