Hi,



I\'m missing out on earning Kudoz points, because the pro-level questions are not being mailed to me. The easy-level ones are being misused so frequently in my language pair (English>Finnish), usually by lovesick teenagers using it as a free translation service for inane messages, that I\'ve given up answering on principle - unfortunately, others haven\'t...

Have you checked your preferences? (You can find them by accessing your profile and clicking on \"Edit email preferences\".) Make sure that the boxes for \"KudoZ questions (\"Pro\" level) are checked (BTW unchecking the boxes for \"Easy\" will get you rid of e-mails for those questions).

Sorry, but so far, it\'s 3 days I don\'t receive KudoZ alerts. The most incredible is that I asked for 2 terms on March 1st, and never got the 20 Browniz expected !! I have the same problem with the glossaries. When I want to enter an \"entry\", (and I have about 400 to enter !)the program asks me to specify the URL. Must I copy all the references of my Medicine manuals, courses and years of practice ? I\'m not obsessed with KudoZ and/or Browniz, but as it is the rule to classify translators he... See more

Particularly, because I think I contribute to a large proportion of \"good\" answers, which is not the case of everybody here, as we have already seen in these fora. Some translators can confirm that when they accepted a false answer, in my domains, I wrote to them privately to explain why their choice was wrong, with references. So far, only one of them said \"thank you\" in private. This means that I don\'t run after KudoZ or Brownies, I just want to be treated the same way than others ! ▲ Collapse
