I seem to have some problems with the deadlines for job bids shown:
1. What does it mean if it says \"Do not bid after ...\" - I thought it meant I had that much time to post my bid, but obviously many postings are closed down before. So - is it meant to be the deadline for finishing the job? Or does the customer enter some fancy date and closes the posting whenever he has found somebody?

2. Obviously the outsourcer\'s deadlines that appear on my screen when I enter the bidding form are wrong, giving \"2000\" as the year. Until today I thought it was just the year - but now it seems, that also the month is not right. E.g., I answered a posting yesterday, which had 2000-04-21 as a deadline, and I missed the job (a very short one) because I didn\'t expect it coming up today and wasn\'t here.
So - does all this mean that if it reads 2000-04-21 on my screen, I have to assume that 2002-03-21 is meant?!

Deadline bug

Cornelia, I mentioned too this problem in the Suggestions forum, proposing that the job posting form should include two separate boxes, one for job deadline and another one for bid deadline. As it is now, there is only one \"deadline\" box; the date entered there is the one that appears under \"do not bid after,\" but I have noticed that clients tend to believe that \"deadline\" refers to the job deadline.

As it is now, I generally ignore that date because I\'m never sure about its being correct or not. But it would be interesting if this problem is seen to. ▲ Collapse
