Strange black boxes after more context requested

After somebody requests more information, I sometimes get a strange black box over the bit that says \'request more info from the asker\'. This black box covers the asker\'s response and, where applicable, the answer chosen.



I realise this isn\'t explained very well ... but I can do you a screen shot if that helps

I\'ve had this too. Two ways round it :



1 - Hit the \"actualiser\" button



2 - Hit the \"back\" button & then \"forward\" to the page you want.

Thanks for the suggestions, but they don\'t seem to work for me. Tried pressing the \'Refresh\' button and going out and back in, and I\'ve still got the black box.



As an example, this is a question I asked,

Everything under my additional context and Proposed answers: 8 is black on my screeen. For the width of the question box. You can see a little bit of text through the box, as if the whole box had been selected somehow.

Thank you Mary for your URL because I have exactly the same problem (black box on the answer) on this question.



I am working on a laptop PC (Sony with a Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller res 1024x768 High Color 16bit on Windows 2000 pro and IE 5.50.4134.0600).

No, the problem doesn\'t occur on all questions. It only seems to happen when more context has been either requested or provided. But not always in either case ....

Same problem Nov 2, 2001

I\'ve had the same problems from time to time. This answer got a black box over it:

http://www.proz.com/glossary/104234?bs=1&eid_c=15136

and even though this is the day after and I have restarted the computer between now and then, I still see the black box...

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
