When I search for a previous forum posting (remembering the exact title) its hopeless to do the search on Proz. But when I put the same phrase on Google (adding "Proz") I immediately find the thread I was looking for.
Also Kudoz search seems to work better via Google than via Proz.com's own search function.

I'm not surprised, Heinrich.

I'm also not surprised by the lack of any response to your post. For the last couple of YEARS I have been reporting problems with the search function, but the fact is that nobody on the Proz.com staff is interested. They simply ignore all complaints about search functionality, and try to pretend that it works just fine, that there are no problems, and that it is supposed to work the way it does (!).
