Dear Translators,

I just looked at the figure provided for the ProZ.com 2012 international conference in Barcelona and was surprised to see that Proz.com states that 503 translators attended the conference. I am curious as to how this number was calculated.

Can anyone tell me the basis of the figure?

I did not attend, but did attend a few of the social gatherings. From what I heard, and from the number of registrations prior to the conference my guess is nearer 160 than 500.

I attended almost every presentation selected and all the social gatherings but one.My estimate is similar to yours.Probably some people expressed interest but finally they did not attend.That's the explanation I have. See the picture at
