I beleive the SQL workshop targets experienced DVX users with no prior knowledge of SQL, but I will double-check with the trainer.

SQL workshop Mar 21, 2007

the WS is for users with no prior Knowlegde of SQL, though i think you still will learn something, if you have a little knowlegde.
We will start with simple expressions and work our way through to the heavier stuff.
once you understand the structure of the DBs, you will find it rather easy to work your way through the commands.

kind regards
Judy Ann

Mr. Csaba, I am interested in attending the beginner and advanced sessions of Deja Vu. Thanks. Mar 21, 2007

If you are interested in these sessions, I would be glad if you could indicate your preliminary interest here.

If you are an advanced user of CAT tools, you even have the chance of attending both Deja Vu and Trados advance training sessions, as they are scheduled at two different times (DVX: Saturday afternoon, Trados: Tuesday)

Training sessions will be charged a separate fee, but at this moment I cannot give you an exact amount.

Csaba

SQL Workshop attendance Mar 25, 2007

Dear Judy,

Thanks for the answer. I have just subscribed to the Workshop. Where/how/when will one be able to know for sure that the workshop will be held, and to learn about those participating? MTIA.

Kind regards,
George

Answer Mar 25, 2007

Dear George and everyone else,

When the registration process was opened about 10 days ago, that was a clear sign that all three DVX sessions will be held.

If you are interested, you can register by purchasing the session(s) you wish to attend.

In case you will eventually not participate, you will be entitled to a full refund.

I hope this clears away any doubts.

all the best,
Csaba

Additional info for SQL Mar 28, 2007

I would like to ask that anybody who is coming to the sql WS has either MS Access (2000 or higher) or Openoffice Version 2 installed.
We need it to look at the Database structure, you do NOT need to know how to work with these programs

kind regards

Judy Ann

Requirements for the training courses Apr 18, 2007

As I was asked some questions about what is needed for the courses, here are the requirements:

It does not matter if you have DVX 7.0284 or the new version (7.5) , but you need one of them installed on your Laptop (DVX Prof or workgroup).

If you do not own a DVX licence please download and install DVX at least a week before the course and get an evaluation code from Atril. if you need help please feel free to send me an email.

For the beginner’s course and the advanced course a working DVX version on your laptop is all you need.

For the SQL course you need DVX plus either Access (2000 or higher) or Openoffice 2.
I would also recommend that you bring a TDB and an MDB with records of several projects with several subjects and several clients.
I will bring a suitable TDB and MDB, but they are in German-English. If you prefer to work in languages you understand, it is sensible to bring you own Databases (Copies, not your working Dbs).

Kind regards
Judy Ann

Not so clearly, I'm afraid. In the title it says 10:00 - 16:00 and below it's 8:00 to 16:00. So I can understand Tatiana's question.

Training Session: DVX training - advanced (Saturday)
Date and time: 10:00-16:00, Saturday, 28 April, 2007

Room: Benczúr 2

Description:
A full-day training session is planned for advanced DVX users. This course will be held on Saturday, 08:00 to 16:00.

Now I understand your concerns.

I did not want to add another day to the conference program page just for that one training course. So I used the given template for Saturday.

Once you are inside the session page, it is indicated that the course lasts from 8 to 4.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
