Translators in these languages in the ProZ directory Jun 3, 2010

Just out of curiosity, I had a look at how many translators there are in these language pairs in the ProZ directory, assuming that the source language is English. Here are the results:

English to Swahili - 221
English to Luo - 3
English to Kikuyu - 2
Luhya and Kalenjin do not even feature in the drop-down list.

It would be interesting to know whether the International Criminal Court finds enough qualified interpreters in these languages and, if not, how they... See more
