The rastaurant has great charro beans.
[note: I assume the word fajitas is Spanish, however, originally it came from an English text. Therefore I'm looking for an explanation in English as well as a translation in Dutch (if there is any) Thx!]

Charro bonen
The Charro Beans recipe has Pinto Beans as its main ingredient. Pinto Beans: Pinto Bonen. I therefor suggest Charro bonen. Fajita is sometimes translated to "Tortilla wrap" of "Tortilla rol". Yet the word "Fajita" is more commonly used.

Charro Beans: In a large pot, bring the beans and water to a boil. Cover
the pot and simmer the beans on low heat.
After an hour, saute the simple chorizo in a skillet. Add the garlic,
onions and tomatoes to the chorizo and saute for 2-3 min, until the
onions are translucent, then add this mixture to the bean pot along with
the jalapenos and cilantro.
Cover the pot and cook over low heat until the beans are tender. About 1
1/2-2 hours more.
When the beans are ready, crush open the jalapenos one at a time with a
spoon against the side of the pot, until you reach the spiciness you
desire. Remove any remaining jalapenos

A 'charro' is a traditional Mexican farmer with typical hat, and there is a spicy Mexican dish called 'frijoles charros' which includes ham, sausages, pork and chili peppers (among other things).

It's not a type of bean, but a spicy dish made from beans. I'd be inclined to leave it as 'charro' as 'boerenbonen' doesn't quite have the same authentic Mexican ring to it!

Charro van bonen (aan elkaar)
Charro is een eenpansgerecht van kievitsbonen (in het Engels pinto beans). pintobonen wordt in het Nederlands ook wel gebruikt, maar van kievitsbonen weten de meeste mensen wel hoe ze eruit zien: lichtbruine boon met donkerbruine vlekjes.
En Fajitas is een gerecht van geroosterde stukjes vlees, warme tortillas (heel dunne platte broden, +/- 25 cm doorsnede, die zonder vet in een hete pan of op een hete plaat worden gebakken), zure room, salsa, pepertjes, sla en nog zo wat bijgerechtjes. Je maakt daarmee tortillas (goed Nederlands woord) naar eigen smaak.

Bestel je fajita\'s dan krijg je een groot bord met alles apart erop, vlees op een \"hot plate\", en vul je zelf je tortilla. Tortilla wrap is de Amerikaanse (en inmiddels in Nederland redelijk ingeburgerde) term voor een torilla gevuld met wat dan ook. Er kan zelfs een salade inzitten en dat is niet Mexicaans.
