I have a whole list of pairs of words that between them contain all 6 vowels (e.g. DAILY/ROUTE; AUDIO/ENTRY; NOISY/QUAKE, though not all pairs mean anything when put together) and start Quordle and Octordle with one of those pairs; with Wordle, I take the first five-different-letter word that occurs to me. I enjoy the journey more than trying desperately to "win" in the fewest possible goes.
So what are yours?

and I've 3 standard starter words, which of course may change depending on the outcome after the 1st, 2nd...
My approach is similar to yours - find 3 words containing all 5 vowels, Y and 9 other most common letters.
Any score below 60 is decent IMO.
I generally start with 'mucky' (which has in fact been correct on occasion).
And I try to solve it in the fewest possible attempts rather than enjoying the journey ... See more
