I\'ve heard that Wordfast is a good translation tool but I don\'t know how or where go to to make a download and a registration. Apparently the links \"download\" and \"registration\" are inoperative. Can anybode help, please!

I don\'t know Wordfast, so I cannot say whether it is better than Déjà Vu or not. I have worked with Déjà Vu and Trados and, among those two, I certainly prefer Déjà Vu. Great software, very easy to use (I had a 30-minute crash course and that\'s all it took) and what\'s more: great support! There\'s a discussion list where you can get all the answers you want and tech support is available 24/7!

Well, you don\'t have to take my word for it. I suggest you download a trial version (www.atril.com). It\'s a full version (no disabled functions) and you can try it for free for a period of 30 days.

And no, Atril doesn\'t pay me, I\'m just a very satisfied user...

But again: I do not know Wordfast, so I can\'t compare. I can only compare DV and Trados.

Wordfast is a good tool, and the only free CAT I know of. Certainly worth a download.

It integrate in Word. http://www.champollion.net/wordfast2.zip



To register, you need to install wordfast. When this is done, you open word, deploy the wordfast tool bar, click on \"F\", get the key, and register on the web site. You will recieve your licence number via email. Simple.
