Fractionation of residual aluminium in natural water treatment from reservoir with poly-aluminium-silicate-chloride (PASiC).

"Under neutral or weakly alkaline conditions (7.00 < pH < 8.00) with comparatively lower residual Al concentration, the treated water total Al was predominantly present in suspended or particulate Al for this surface water treatment by PASiC coagulation. However, at pH < 6.0 or pH > 8.00, the finished water total Al was predominantly present in the dissolved Al fonn rather than suspended or particulate Al. Meanwhile, in the dissolved residual Al fraction, organically-bound fonns (organically-bound Al, also known as organic Al complexes) were present with higher concentrations in treated water."
