It can be written in different ways depending on the building and the specific office and if there is more than one separate company on a specific floor of a building.

A "suite" number is simply an identification of a rented/owned space in mostly larger commercial buildings. The building make have 100 spaces, each "suite number" identifies where to properly deliver the mail for the same address. Normally there are individual boxes with each "suite", or if a larger building they may have a separate mail sorting room once USPS delivers.

In a business address in the USA, it often is used to denote an office or group of offices in a building that houses many business in the same building.
