Fast and precise measurement of the catenary position
With our catenary instruments, the position of the catenary for
electrical railways can be detected precisely. The static-punctual
measurement records the catenary height above the top of the rail
and the zig zag run in relation to the track center. Furthermore, our
system offers additional vertical distance measurements e.g. to
the catenary wire, to bridge heights or to crossing power lines. The
measuring instruments are used for catenary constructions, as well
as for maintenance work at overhead contact lines.
