Kohlberg’s educational ideologies include a set of objectives that are grounded in
the idea that participation in discussions of morality spawns moral reasoning growth. His
"just community" goals were to: a) promote moral development through dialogue of
moral issues; b) cultivate a culture of moral normalities through the democratic
establishment of regulations and "community-building"; and c) create and maintain an
environment conducive to students and teachers "acting" upon the moral decisions.
