Όταν μία εταιρία ή οργανισμός δίνει τη δυνατότητα στους πελάτες της να συνισφέρουν στην αντιστάθμιση των εκπομπών διοξειδίου του άνθρακα.
This is called a carbon offset service, and the idea is to reduce the net amount of carbon released into the atmosphere to fight global warming. You pay them per-pound (or ton) of CO2, and they’re responsible for finding a way to reduce the overall (net) amount of CO2 by that amount.
