Elvira provided 2900 horsemen, Jaen 2200 etc, and Tudmir 256. This numerical insignificance of contingents provided by the eastern regions is confirmed by the position of Tudmir and Valencia in the list in the Muqtabis where a certain hierarchical order seems to have been observed and where these regions are the last ones mentioned among the mujannada districts, without receiving the title of kura.
