Τι είναι οι αεραγωγοί;
Οι πνεύμονες διαθέτουν εκατοντάδες σωληνοειδείς σχηματισμούς (αεραγωγοί), που φυσιολογικά αποκτούν μικρότερη διάμετρο όσο πορεύονται περιφερικότερα. Οι αεραγωγοί με τις αναπνευστικές κινήσεις μεταφέρουν τον αέρα εντός (εισπνοή) και εκτός των πνευμόνων (εκπνοή).

Απαντώ στην ερώτησή σου (με κάθε επιφύλαξη): Έπειτα από ψάξιμο, καταλήγω στο συμπέρασμα ότι στα Ελληνικά δεν γίνεται διάκριση, ίσως γιατί η λέξη "αεραγωγός" ή "αεροφόρος" -σε αντίθεση με τη λέξη airway- εμπεριέχει την έννοια του conduct. Σε αγγλικά κείμενα βρήκα τους βρόγχους και τα βρογχιόλια ως "conducting airways" ή "conductive airways", ενώ στα ελληνικά κείμενα αναφέρονται απλά ως "αεραγωγοί".
