: For "I wish you the best": yes. "Copper", however, is almost certainly a typo/mis-transcription for "cobber": a form of address.

I think there is a mistake, it should be "cobber" instead of "copper". Cobber means "mate", "friend" : I wish you all the best, mate!

Considereando il contesto, e considerando che non c'e' una virgola, io direi che questa e' la traduzione piu' esatta. Come diceva Sona, "copper puo' significare o polizziotto, o soldi.
Pero', se si riferisse ad una persona, sarebbe "I wish you the best, copper" oppure "I wish you the best, cobber."
