This may help, but perhaps you should consult colleagues who work into your target language?

Isolation Condenser (IC) System
The IC is used in older boiling water reactor designs. The IC system transfers residual and decay heat from the reactor coolant to the water in the shell side of the heat exchanger resulting in steam generation. The steam generated in the shell side of the heat exchanger is then vented to the outside atmosphere. The system employs natural circulation as the driving head from the reactor steam side, through the isolation condenser tubes, and back to the reactor.

The IC system is automatically initiated if a high reactor pressure condition is sustained for 15 seconds. The time delay prevents unnecessary system initiation during turbine trips. Also at most plants, the IC system automatically initiates on a low vessel water level to aid in reducing reactor pressure for small line breaks. The IC system is designed to provide core cooling regardless of whether electrical power is available.

"continued to cool" Per my understanding the answer is in the context provided: the loops continued to cool, ie these are cooling loops.
This is a functional naming, the coolant itself could be steam, water, pressurized or not, sodium or else, but I find more relevant to name them by purpose than by content
Masoud Kakouli Varnousfaderani (asker) May 20, 2016:
It could be " coolant loop".

I can understand what loop is, but there is something implied in English version that needs to be explicitly stated in my language, and I do know what that thing is. Think of this sentence: Boiling water reactors use a closed, direct steam cycle loop, as shown schematically below. I can translate loop here easily since it is used as an adjective. However, in the afroe-mentioned sentence it is used as a noun. I need some words such as "loop systems " or "coolant loop" to translate this.

You might want to get some diagrams and other reference material from the client. I think the text clearly refers to the loops of the isolation condenser, which having started automatically, as they are designed to do, continue to cool the reactor.

Does it more refer to coolant loops here in this sentence?

loops

In a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) the pressurized water in the primary coolant loop carries the heat to the steam generator.
You can see a diagram of this on many sites, including the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission site: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/pwrs.html

agree philgoddard : If you had to find a synonym, I guess it would be "circuits".
