merit
bien-fondé n. m.

Sous-entrée(s) :
synonyme(s)
propriety of question on examination

For a case to have merit it has to be well documented and well presented
It definitely doesn't mean that it will also be successful; it means only that basically "you have a case" - it doesn't mean you have won the case

http://www.answers.com/topic/substantiate
Numai bine
Note from asker:
Wow, right to the point!
Iata ce am mai gasit pe http://biz.yahoo.com/e/070803/ldl8-k.html successful on the merits and otherwise. Ce credeti?
Multumesc, sunt foarte inclinata sa accept raspunsul dumneavoastra, de aceea intreb: dar substance of a lawsuit, case sau action, ce sens exact are si de ce nu ar fi bine sa-l folosim in acest caz, va rog?
