"One lord and king" We do not say in English "One lord and king". "One" is redundant and unnecessary here and sounds non-native.

Thank you!/ Jesus is called Lord and King. In Romanian orthodox church we use "Unuia" as "one and only". In fact the correct version of the source text should be "fiii Unuia Domn şi Împărat..."

I think that all that is necessary here is "children", as used in this quote from Deuteronomy 14:1:

"Deuteronomy 14:1 Translations -
King James Version (KJV)
Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead."

With regard to "Domn și Împărat", I believe that this is describing one and the same thing - God who is also a lord/emperor of life. Therefore the commonly used expression, "the Lord your God" seems relevant here.

neutral Annamaria Amik : As the man and the woman are crowned king and queen in the Orthodox marriage sacrament, I think it's important to keep "King", to express the honour they are given; otherwise the author could have simply written "unui Domn şi Dumnezeu".
