ABSTRACT
The study examined the prevalence of PTSD indicators in patients who were admitted to the ICU, six months after being discharged from the hospital, along with the examination of the relationship between PTSD and mnemonic memories. A total of 41 adult patients with varying diseases participated by answering questionnaires regarding PTSD, memories and clinical information. My career began in international finance as a Director of Lending Operations for a U.S. Based Lender with Borrowers in Brazil. For the last 10 years I have been working as a translator, interpreter and consultant for U.S. companies entering and expanding in the Brazilian Market.
I truly enjoy translating, as I find the opportunity to utilize and expand in depth knowledge of a particular subject intriguing. Most recently, my work load has consisted mostly of the translation of scientific papers written by Brazilian Authors destined to be published in American Scientific Journals.
