If, just bought, the instructions for UNPACKING the Stroller and putting it together, at this stage the phrase used is to 'erect' the Stroller.

BEFORE USE does NOT mean now. Open any Instruction Manual and you will find that expression, 'before use', when one first un-packs and erects the item. If it were ''ready to use'', then I can understand it. Ofcourse you unfold it before use i.e sit the child in it!!!

fully δεν σημαίνει "πλήρως" (completely): σημαίνει "σε πλήρη ανάπτυξη" (= έκπτυξη), όπως εδώ:

στο μέσο του κόκπιτ εδράζεται ένα ευμέγεθες πτυσσόμενο τραπέζι το οποίο **σε πλήρη ανάπτυξη** μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως οκτώ άτομα

Το erect δεν σημαίνει "συναρμολογώ" (put together): σημαίνει "στήνω" (που θα ταίριαζε πιο πολύ για πτυσσόμενη κρεβάτι ή τραπέζι).

@transphy στη συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση (με το fully) erected = unfolded

Stroller must be fully erected and locked in position prior to use.

Always make certain that the stroller is fully unfolded and locked before use
Make sure the stroller is fully unfolded and locked before placing your child in it
Make sure the Quinny Zapp is fully unfolded and locked before placing your child in it

Μα φίλε Αντράς, ''να ξεδιπλωθεί εντελώς''= to unfold completely( to be completely unfolded).
I reckon they use ''completely erected'' as PUTTING IT TOGETHER, after unpacking it. I would agree with you, if the Stroller was ALREADY 'erected=put together', folded up and on wanting to use you unfold it completely.
Usually, instructions say do this and this and that,(erect it completely) before use. In other words DON'T FORGET THE 4th. WHEEL!!!!!!
