I am a native Sri Lankan and speak Tamil as my mother tongue (fluent in both written and spoken Tamil). Growing up in Sri Lanka also means that I am a fluent speaker of Singhalese. As I have lived and worked in the United Kingdom for nearly 10 years now, I am also fluent in both spoken and written English. I am therefore available to do the following:

Tamil to English (and vice versa) face to face interpreting, telephone interpreting, translations, transcriptions and voice-overs

Singhalese to English face to face interpreting, telephone interpreting

Although I am relatively new to the field of interpreting, I have had experience in many professions, including customer service, sales, the restaurant/bar industry, financial insurance and the marine industry. I therefore have knowledge of a wide variety of working practices and the terminology that goes along with these practices.
