My practical knowledge of the English language was developed starting from a six-month study experience (September 2006-January 2007) in Vancouver, Canada. The things I learned proved to be essential for the completion of a filmmaking workshop in Celebration, FL (U.S.A.) that was hosted by the New York Film Academy in the summer of 2011 during my last year in the Sacred Heart University (Brescia, Italy). Thanks to experiences as a volunteer at EXPO 2015 and as an editor/social media manager at the U.P.C. TV production company, I’ve honed fundamental skills for communicating with international co-workers, welcoming guests and clients, and also manage emergencies with rationality and efficiency. More recently, thanks to many trips abroad, I’ve had the opportunity to work on occasional jobs that required translations from English to Italian (and vice-versa) and the creation of subtitles for short films and documentaries. |
