precarietà del presente,
tornare ad affrontare
la scommessa del futuro
L’ascolto delle nuove generazioni
per costruire l’Italia che verrà
I dati congiunturali degli ultimi mesi su
crescita, occupazione e consumi hanno
registrato la rapida evoluzione della crisi
e ne hanno documentato l’inequivocabile
natura recessiva. Nonostante le politiche
di contenimento del debito pubblico e
le misure di sostegno all’economia italiana
approntate dal Governo, siamo davanti
a una crisi pervasiva che sta investendo
la società e l’economia del Paese
in
modo quasi “virale”, compromettendone
Accanto all’urgenza di sostenere l’economia
nazionale, si pone oggi una rinnovata
urgenza: restituire fiducia ai cittadini; promuovere
e sostenere l’alleanza fra giovani
ed anziani che è centrale per superare
la crisi; prestare ascolto ad una parte
della società spesso ai margini, che sta
vivendo trasformazioni repentine ed ha
bisogno di supporto per comprendere e
gestire il cambiamento.
Anche per questo, lo IAL - Innovazione Apprendimento
Lavoro, oggi impresa sociale,
ha scelto di prendere parte alla difficile
sfida di interpretare la complessità
delle trasformazioni in atto, di studiare e
approntare nuovi strumenti di lettura delle
istanze di tutela sempre più diffuse nella
società. Si tratta di offrire un contributo
alla costruzione dell’Italia che verrà,
ascoltandone i protagonisti: le nuove generazioni
generalizzate.
Oltre le incertezze e la
precarietà del presente,

la scommessa del futuro

Translation - English Beyond the uncertainty and precariousness of the present, returning to facing future challenges
Listening to the younger generations to build the future of Italy
The economic data in recent months on growth, employment and consumption has shown the rapid evolution of the crisis, documenting the unequivocal nature of recession. Despite the Government’s policy of public debt containment and measures to support the Italian economy, we are facing a pervasive crisis that is affecting society and the economy of the country in an almost “viral” way, compromising not only the financial wherewithal, but also the ideal and institutional references, the mutual inter-generational exchange, the ability of interpreting present challenges and a vision of the future. For citizens it is a real crisis of confidence.
The unavoidable risk, at this time, is damage to the web of relationships that is the cornerstone of the country, which is causing dangerous conflict between generations while emerging dimensions of insecurity and social vulnerability remain unresolved. Besides the urgent need to support the national economy, there is now a renewed urgency: restoring confidence to the citizens; promoting and supporting the alliance between young and old that is central to overcoming the crisis; listening to a part of society often at the margins, which is experiencing rapid changes, requiring support to understand and manage change. Also for this, the IAL - Innovazione Apprendimento Lavoro, today a social enterprise, has chosen to take part in the difficult challenge of interpreting the complexity of the changes underway, studying and developing new ways of reading the widespread instances of protection society. It hopes to offer a contribution to the construction of the Italy to come, listening to the protagonists: the country’s new generation.
Consistent with its identity and its historic mission, which is strongly linked to the values of solidarity, to labour protection and social commitment precisely of Cisl, the IAL has designed and given to the National Institute for Research Demòpolis a process of listening and study of values of the younger generations, for the identification of outstanding tasks concerning their protection, new forms of participation and emerging languages, for the verification of the variables that affect the complex transition to the adult world, for the awareness of the dimensions of insecurity of employment that is becoming and more and more generalised.
The commitment of the IAL and Demòpolis is to offer their own contribution to the redefinition of the guidelines and options for the future, and with this synergy, to enhance their know-how and expertise: the historic capital of the national IAL in the field of training throughout lifelong learning, promoting the improvement of skills in working for innovation and greater worker participation in business life; the experience gained by the Demòpolis in the analysis of Italian public opinion, in political and social research, in their listening targeted to the younger generations. The choice of offering to contribute to the understanding of the youth segment moves from a process of reflection that the IAL, together with Cisl, reached in the last year and for which it has asked for an operational contribution from Demòpolis.
The significant transformations which have occurred in the last twenty years in the dynamics of entrance into the world of work have drastically altered the personal and professional lives of the younger generations, affecting the perception and expectations regarding security - increasingly more individual and less collective - the institutional points of reference for youth, the methods of orientation during education, training and entrance into employment, perception and the construction of the future.
In this context, IAL and Demòpolis have decided to restore depth to a social segment that is too often spoken about by means of stereotypes, through a journey of understanding of an entire portion of the country that tries to find fulfilment in life and work. In the framework of avoiding stereotypes in talking about the new generations, IAL and Demòpolis are working to analyse the different types of youth experience: the experience of those who study, as well as that of those looking for their first job or are at their initial work experience; the testimony of those who seek new forms of participation, of those who are socially engaged; and the unique perspective of “atypical” and “contract” workers, who are living in a state of temporary employment. Precisely an analytical focus will offer the reading the microcosm of those registered at employment agencies, recounting their experiences and fears. As early as September it is our intention to identify points of convergence with that world that is an expression of associations with which we find identity and common values, with the aim of seeking out, in a logic of new territorial welfare, the correlations between the needs and the sensitivity expressed by young people and by the older population.
With these goals, we will present in specific public policy initiatives, the results of the joint IAL - Demòpolis analysis, as a contribution of knowledge to the general public and institutions, to restore centrality to the challenges of the future that each civil actor must feel called upon to face, beyond the uncertainty and precariousness of the present.

4. PROGETTAZIONE
4.1
comprese quelle in cemento armato e metalliche.

4. PLANNING
4.1 The works subject of this Contract can be illustrated by conceptual diagrams made available by the Client.
Such diagrams will in general have the purpose of indicating the general layout, the disposition and size of the works.
The Contractor must draft at his own expense, by an Engineer appointed by him, regularly registered in the professional rolls, the definitive project of the works, complete with the calculations of the weight-bearing structures, including those in reinforced concrete and metallic framework.
However, the Client, at his total discretion, reserves the right to have his own technicians or those he deems as reliable, draft the complete final project, complete with the calculation of the weight-bearing structures, including those in reinforced concrete and metallic framework, and in such case, the project must be signed for acceptance by the Works Supervisor who will assume the responsibility together with the Contractor.
The Contractor is moreover bound to develop at his own expense the architectural project provided by the Client and the construction details on a 1:50 scale based on the calculation of the weight-bearing structures previously indicated.
Works in reinforced concrete and metallic framework require a report by the Contractor to the competent Institutions and offices and to maintain the documents in the worksite, as well as the samples of the cubes of cement and the reinforcement metallic poles, as is set out by the relevant legal norms in force.
The Contractor must also at his own expense present the competent Institutions and offices the stability tests and any other possible documentation that could be necessary that the Client will deliver to him.
The final project drafted by the Contractor, complete in all details as indicated above, must be transmitted to the Client prior to the start of the works; the latter reserves the right to give his approval to the final project, though the Contractor remains totally responsible for the project itself.
The same regulation is valid also for modifications and variations to the final project that may be requested by the Client “in the course of work”.
At the termination of the works, the Contractor must provide to the Client, without any additional compensation, all the updated and detailed drawings and diagrams of the works carried out in a copy that can be reproduced, which will remain the property of the Client.
4.2 The Contractor is required however to:
•check the carrying capacity of the foundation terrain, producing, upon Client request, all the certificates of the samples or tests carried out;
•take into account, for the calculation of the structure, in addition to its own weight, also that of the fixed, accidental or mobile loads indicated by the Client;
•check and control the projects, calculations and diagrams, thus assuming the connected responsibilities. Whenever the Contractor has not communicated his own observations or reservations in writing, prior to the start of the works, the project is understood as approved and accepted by the same;
•carry out the works according to the best techniques and practices and with the use of top quality materials.
4.3 The Contractor will furthermore be required to ascertain if there are discrepancies between the diagrams provided by the Client and legal norms, and to immediately indicate them to the Client himself who will ensure that the necessary modifications are made.
5. CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE
5.1 The Client can be represented by someone appointed by him who does not necessarily have to be part of his own personnel, who will have the faculty of assisting in the execution of the works without however releasing the Contractor from his own responsibilities.
The person appointed by the Client will have the faculty to verify the perfect fulfilment by the Contractor, who shall provide ample demonstration, of all the contractual prescriptions, and he may refuse those works that, at his sole discretion, have not been carried out correctly and with perfect workmanship.
In such case the Contractor will be bound to once again carry out the works at his own expense. Should the Contractor be unable to carry out once again the contested works in the times established by the Client, the Client may have the same works carried out by another Company.
The increased expenses that the Client may need to sustain in dependence on what is hypothesised will be charged to the Contractor and detracted from his invoices, maintaining the right of indemnity for damages.

ISAB S.r.l. – CONTRACT GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
March 2009 Issue Page 4 di 18
5.2 The Client representative, or any other person appointed to that role, may have access at any time and circumstance to offices, workshops of the work site, warehouses and / or workshops of the Contractor and his suppliers, to carry out all those controls deemed necessary by the same.
5.3 In the performing of its tasks, the Client Representative will have no liability towards either the Contractor or any third party, for any event or damages that could occur in the course or however in occasion and as a result of the execution of the works.

1958 L’Omino coi baffi: icona dello stile Bialetti
1971 Nasce Girmi S.p.A.
2007 Bialetti Industrie arriva in Borsa
2010 Bialetti lancia I Caffè d’Italia

Discover the history
In 1919 Alfonso Bialetti opened in Crusinallo a workshop for the production of semi-finished aluminium, which he then transformed into a studio for the design and production of finished products using die-casting.
It was in 1933 when Moka Express was invented: from this intuition was born the history of Bialetti, a brand that has transformed the art of brewing coffee into a gesture so simple and natural as to become an indispensable rite in every Italian home. For nearly 100 years, Bialetti has been telling the story of the values of our tradition through a path of aromas, colours and flavours that speak of the home, daily habits and conviviality; it speaks of the dedication to design, attention to details, of knowing how to simplify every gesture in the kitchen; transmitting quality, passion, experience and reliability. A witness to an era and a culture that have helped to spread in the world the originality and innovativeness of Italian design, Bialetti has revolutionised the pleasure of preparing coffee, and strong in its expertise it continues to evolve and renew its own products to cater to the needs of every single Italian kitchen. Still today it is a testimonial of experience and of the will to add value and beauty to everyday life in the kitchen with products of rigorous functionality, great technology and reliability, with a modern design and quality of absolute excellence. From coffee makers to small household appliances, from pots and pans to the world of espresso, the Bialetti brand continues to be synonymous with genuine pleasure, expertise and passion.
The stages of its success
In 1919 Bialetti was born
Alfonso Bialetti opened a workshop for the production of semi-finished aluminium products in Crusinallo, Verbania. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he transformed his workshop, Alfonso Bialetti & C. Fonderia in Conchiglia, in a studio for the design and production of finished products, ready for the market.
1919 The origins of Girmi
In Omegna, in the same territory and at the same time as the birth of the Bialetti foundry was the establishment of Cooperativa La Subalpina, which began to produce household goods and articles for perfumeries and hairdressers. In 1940, the cooperative was then fully acquired by Mr. Mario Caldi, one of the founding members. At the end of the Second World War, the activities of the company were resumed with the production of objects for grooming and for the bathroom.
1933 The Moka: a revolutionary invention
From the genius of Alfonso Bialetti, Moka Express was born.
The Moka, with an Art Deco design, has revolutionised the way of making coffee at home and allowed the company, thanks to the ambition of his son Renato, to immediately establish itself as one of the leading Italian manufacturers of coffee makers.
1938 Aeternum at its beginnings
In Lumezzane, in the province of Brescia, Bortolo Bugatti, together with his sons, founded the company that bears his name, dedicating themselves to the production of cutlery in brass. Between 1954 and 1955, the company began the production of cookware in stainless steel: in that same period, the company assumes the name Aeternum.
1947 The success of Rondine
While Moka Express starts to arrive in foreign markets, in Coccaglio, in the province of Brescia, Francesco Ranzoni, grandfather of the current President of the group, founded a company specialised in the production of aluminium cookware: Rondine Italia. In the 1980s the Company was among the first in Italy to use a non-stick coating and introduce silk-screen printing on their own cooking products. In the same period Rondine Italia reached another milestone with the creation of the Trudi line of non-stick aluminium cookware, which became an icon of the production, thanks to the winning mix of technical and stylistic innovation with an excellent quality/price ratio, giving great relief to the Rondine brand in Italy and abroad.
1949 La Subalpina starts the production of small household appliances
Upon his return from his honeymoon in the United States, Carlo Caldi, the son of Mario, decided to specialise his company in the reproduction of small electrical appliances, the same ones that fascinated him and which he had purchased in the North American country.
1954 Frullo: the first Italian blender
The Piedmont company launched Frullo, the first blender produced in Italy, to which followed the coffee grinder Mokaro in 1956 and a year later, the Girmi blender. The latter obtained an important commercial success, so much so that its name, born as contraction of the Italian words for "turn" and "mixture", in 1961 it became the name of the company, renamed Girmi - La Subalpina S.p.A.
1956 The pressure cooker
Making its debut on the Astral market was the first Aeternum pressure cooker. From this moment the reputation of the brand increased greatly, also thanks to the figure of the "King of Stainless Steel" and it affirmed itself as the leader in the sector of cookware, in particular of pressure cookers in stainless steel. These were also the years that they gave birth to the first, unforgettable advertising campaigns and the first televised advertisements.
1958 The Little man with a moustache: icon of the Bialetti style
The reputation of Bialetti was further consolidated thanks to significant advertising investments on Carosello, a well-known Italian TV programme based on advertising sketches, and the communication focused on the image of the "Little Man with the mustache", born in the 1950s from the pencil of Paul Campani, which then became the company’s symbol and today is present on both the trademark of the Bialetti Industrie Group and is applied to products of the Bialetti brand.
1971 Girmi S.p.A. was born
Girmi - La Subalpina S.p.A. adopted the name of Girmi S.p.A., asserting itself quickly as the leader in Italy in the sector of small electric household appliances: in addition to blenders and coffee grinders, there were produced irons, electric ovens, ice-cream makers, coffee machines and toasters that were technologically at the avant-garde and appreciated by the public for their design and innovation.
1993 Rondine aquires Bialetti
Companies with a different history, Bialetti and Rondine, but sharing the same vocation for quality and innovation so as to induce the current President, Francesco Ranzoni, to purchase from Faema a quota representative of the entire share capital of Alfonso Bialetti & C. This was an entrepreneurial move which, in a few years, brought about many successes signed by the mythical "Little man with a moustache". A few years later, in 1998, Rondine and Alfonso Bialetti & C. joined together.
2002 Bialetti Industrie was born
As a result of the acquisition of Presmetalcasalinghi 2000 and Gb-Guido Bregna in 2001, the leader in the production of coffee makers in steel and accessories for the home, was the birth of the current Bialetti Industrie S.p.A.
In 2003 the expansion continued with the absorption of the company Brevetti Bialetti and the creation of the parent company Bialetti Holding, which today distributes the Bialetti, Rondine, Girmi, Aeternum and CEM brands.
2005 The entrance of Girmi and CEM in the Group
The desire to be even more competitive in the market of small electrical appliances led to the acquisition of another historic brand, Girmi, whose origins go back to Omegna precisely in 1919, as it was for Bialetti.
In the same year, with the goal of laying the foundations for a manufacturing and commercial site to serve Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the Bialetti Group acquired CEM, a company active in the production and marketing of non-stick aluminium cookware with a brand that was very famous and with a long tradition in Turkey.
2006 The Group acquires Aeternum
Bialetti Industrie expands further by acquiring Aeternum, the historic Italian brand that is leader in the production of steel in the sector of cookware and pressure cookers.
2006 Mokona: entry into the world of espresso
A modern instrument, but one characterised by a retro design inspired by the famous Moka Express: this is how Mokona presents itself, the espresso machine with the innovative trivalent functionality (capsules, pods and ground coffee), which has made it become immediately the flagship product in its segment of the market and top seller of the category.
2007 Bialetti Industrie arrives on the Stock Exchange
It was 27 July when Bialetti Industrie became a publicly traded company on MTA of the Italian Stock Exchange.
2009 The innovation of Ceramic OK
For the relaunch of the Aeternum brand was created the innovative line with interior non-stick coating in ceramic. This is the new frontier of cooking utensils to cook in a healthy and natural way, as if cooked on the plate itself!
2010 Bialetti launches The Coffees of Italy
No one better than Bialetti knows the importance of the rite of coffee in Italian families: traditions and local techniques make the coffee tasted in one's own city a unique and unmistakable experience. Thus came about the capsules called The Coffees of Italy, a true sensory journey through the excellencies of Italian espresso, extolling the differences in habits and taste from north to south, passing through Turin, Venice, Milan, Rome and Naples. The capsules, in aluminium and completely recyclable, contain 7 grams of coffee, as recommended for authentic Italian espresso and are produced in Italy, in the plant of Coccaglio.
2013 The Little man with a moustache reveals his passion for pastry
Bialetti Dolce Chef is the collection dedicated to the world of pastry and cake design. A line for the preparation of original desserts, exclusive for its aesthetic content, innovative for its materials and complete in its assortment. In 2014 the entire line was elected by the consumers as Product of the Year, asserting itself as a reference point for all lovers of this sweet art of pastry-making!
2013 Petravera: the pleasure of genuine cooking
Great is the investment of Bialetti in the cookware sector: in fact, the Donatello line equipped with the exclusive Petravera non-stick lining, was developed. The way of cooking was revolutionised: the flavours of genuine cooking combine with the comfort of use of the innovative stone effect coating.
2014 Moka Induction: innovation that preserves the tradition
Once again Bialetti presents an extraordinary invention in the sector of traditional coffee makers: It is in fact the first Moka suitable to be used also on induction tops. The commitment of Bialetti Industrie in the sphere of Research & Development has allowed the creation of a revolutionary coffee maker, suitable for use on gas, on electric plates, on ceramic and induction tops. This is all thanks to the union of two high-quality materials: aluminium alloy, which is indicated for use in food, the cover and the collector - the same that has always formed the resistant body of the historical Moka Express - the boiler and the funnel are stainless steel, perfect for use on induction tops.
Certifications
The working methods of the Bialetti Group are in accordance with the UNI standards worldwide.
UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
The Group tests the quality of its products throughout the manufacturing cycle, controlling the characteristics of the raw materials, the correct operation of the various stages of production and the finished products. The internal quality management protocol, called "Quality Manual", is drawn up in compliance with the certification requirements.
SA 8000: 2008
Another important recognition arrived in 2005 with the SA 8000 certification, an international standard that certifies business ethics. Further confirmation of the cutting-edge philosophy of Bialetti Industrie.
Sustainability
People, health and nature. The Group makes ethical respect, social and environmental responsibility the core values of a corporate culture that increasingly will guide, even in the future, the way of thinking, designing and producing of Bialetti Industrie. Choices of concrete commitment, which in the past have seen the birth a collaboration with AIRC, the Italian Association for Cancer Research, with the Breast Cancer Association and with various other associations present in several countries.
Responsibility and even wider commitment, which is also identified with agreements with Legambiente in support of campaigns for the protection of the territory promoted by the Italian environmentalist association partner. In 2007, a pact of commitment with Legambiente was signed to reduce emissions into the atmosphere thanks to the recovery of aluminium during the production process and the development of a campaign to collect the metal. The consistency and the concreteness of the path they have undertaken has introduced products with new eco-friendly non-stick coatings, that do not release emissions of PFOA in the environment even during the manufacturing process.
Social commitment
Corporate Social Responsibility is for Bialetti Industrie a cornerstone of its business strategy. The latter can be synthesised in the constant search for quality, not only of the finished product and its performance, but of the entire production chain, of which the true protagonists are all the employees. For the Bialetti Group everything contributes to the project of "business quality" and "social responsibility", especially the human factor, the elements of cohesion with the territory, the respect for the environment, the use of technologies intended to save and optimise the use of materials and the training of staff regarding the best use of the energies and of the products. Bialetti Industrie intends upon promoting the development of the "soft economy", in which the territories encounter companies, where alliances are established between knowledge, new technologies and tradition and where competition is nourished by training, research, social cohesion and positive relationships with the community. For Bialetti Industrie, therefore, everything contributes to the concept of business quality and social and ethical responsibility. The release of the ethic certification according to the international standard SA8000 is an authoritative ratification. The actions for the protection of its employees and their health are the most visible expressions. The methods of work comply with all safety rules and are in accordance with the UNI standards worldwide.
