You can find it in the Word menu bar Oct 8, 2009

Hi Milena,

If you are working with Trados and Word, you can find "Fix document" option in the Trados menu which ppears in Word when you have Trados template selected. Path is Trados menu (in Word), Fix document option.

You can also try the shortcut Alt+Ctrl+U

Can anyone tell me what it actually does? Oct 8, 2009

It sounds brilliant, but I never know when to use it. Whenever I tried it with the earlier versions of Trados, nothing happened at all, so I have largely forgotten all about it!

If I have problems, I close everything down without saving, then open the TM and document and try again - it usually works. One word of caution - as long as everything is going well, you have to remember to save the document at frequent intervals...
