Teks sumber - Bahasa Inggeris In this layout and architecture the historic town of Goiás is an outstanding example of a European town admirably adapted to the climatic, geographical and cultural constraints of central South America. It represent the evolution of a form of urban structure and architecture characteristic of the colonial settlement of South America, making full use of local materials and techniques and conserving its exceptional setting. The urban layout is an example of the organic development of a mining town, adapted to the conditions of the site.
In 1748, Goiás’ gold wealth meant it was chosen as the headquarters of a new subdistrict, and its first governor transformed the modest village onto a small capital. Its townscape has not been subject to any major changes in modern times, making Goiás a remarkably well-preserved example of a mining town of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, including its natural environment, which has remained intact.

Bio
I am a Malay by ethnic and Malay is my mother tongue and I live in Selangor, Malaysia. I am an experienced, trained translator working with these language pairs (English to Malay and Malay to English). As a Malay native speaker, I am equipped with an insider’s knowledge of Malay culture - the culture that I grew up with. I’m “on the ground” so to speak and as such, able to advise you regarding Malaysian/Malay preferences, subtleties, nuances, colloquialisms and humour - these are the fascinating yet complex aspects of culture and language.
I acquired a Bachelor degree in Translation with Interpreting from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. The intensive programme has enabled me to gain my knowledge of translation and interpretation as well as improving my communication skills. I started offering English to Malay translation services in 2013 where I started my Bachelor Degree of Art in Translation with Interpreting at that time. With such academic background, I can confidently say that I am expertise in Translation and interpreting field and localization as a whole. Over the years, I am curious and hungry for knowledge and over the years, I’ve continued to develop my translation skills further by joining forum when it comes to the Malay language. From 2013 until now, I have translated approximate more than 500,000 English words in various domains such as general, literature, history, education, technical, home appliance, logistic and transportation, religions, general science, Information Technology, tourism and heritage, as well as for SAP Language Services and many more. I possess invaluable experience in the Localization company as a Localization Project Manager as well as for SAP Language Services.
I am patient, focused, highly detailed and sharp. My clients love working with me because I love delivering my best work. I love knowing that my work has helped you reach out to the Malay speakers effectively and profitably.
As for the CAT tool, I usually work with Trados Studio 2017 and I am able to work with provided tools if needed as I have uninterrupted Internet access and a good command of computer software. I can also provide solid professional references, if needed.
