On the supply side, services and manufacturing sectors remained the key drivers of growth. The services sector expanded at a faster pace
during the quarter. The improvement was attributed mainly to higher growth in the finance and insurance sub-sector, resulting from higher lending activity, particularly in the household segment. Growth in
the information and communication sub-sector also improved, driven by increased demand for data communication services. The wholesale and retail trade sub-sector continued to expand, supported by sustained strength in household spending.
