As a Malaysian, I reaped the benefit of living in a country where Malay is the National Language and English is widely used in the corporate sector. The reinforcement I received in both languages, being brought up in an English speaking family, and receiving my education in Malay has definitely given me an advantage over many in terms of these languages.

I have been involved in freelance translation for the past seven years, after leaving my fulltime job as a Public Relations Consultant, where I was often involved in translation projects for my company. I now work for several leading investment companies and public listed firms in Malaysia , translating their financial and annual reports and marketing collateral on a repeat business basis.

My translating experience also include the translation of two books: "Negara Serata Dunia - Myanmar" and "Mengapa Montessori", both published by Times Publications.
