Hello, I am new to OmegaT 3.6.0 (and rather new in the translation business as well). I got a problem translating HTML files ENG > GER. The umlauts are all converted into HTML code. A problem I already faced with the Trial Version of Trados, which I came by when I found the option "Entity Conversion". Now I cannot find a similar option in OmegaT, nor does Google seem to be able to help. Is there a way to turn the conversion for umlauts off?

To confirm what esperantisto wrote, OmegaT will only convert umlauts to HTML code if the target encoding does not support them.
UTF-8, for instance, is safe.
