Hi!

Are anyone here sitting on the old downloadable MS glossaries for Norwegian? A few computers ago I still had them but now I can't seem to find them anymore.
I do know about the online search page, but it would save me a ton of work to be able to have TM access to them

Kind regards,
Håvard

Hi Håvard ,

They can now all be downloaded from this page: https://www.microsoft.com/Language/en-US/Terminology.aspx

Note that they come as a .tbx file, so you will need to convert this to TMX, or whatever other format you might need. As far as I remember, Xbench (http://www.xbench.net/ ) can do this, among others.

Thank you!
I found these, but they do not seem to be as comprehensive as the old product specific downloadable glossaries. They do contain a lot of information, but I am currently working on a document containing a lot of MS Word specific terms (names of arrows, callouts etc.) and they are not available in the TM I downloaded.

Use a Norwegian version of Word OR download (from MS) the language extensions for Word. You can look up most things in Word's user interface, then.
