Hello all!!

I am new to this forum and to the interpreting world.

I've been offered what would be my first interpreting job. I will have to be the interpreter for a French writer for one day. I don't know exactly what kind of interpreting I will have to do, consecutive, simultaneous,... or the kind of vocabulary he will be using.

The rate varies, but from I have read and from what I know, it starts from 50-60 Euros/hour + VAT.

It also depends who the client is...I think.

For a gestoria here in the Comunidad Valenciana, I bill them at 45 €/hour + VAT.
In Belgium my prices where (quite a lot) higher...

In my case I'm talking about the pair Spanish-Dutch, Dutch-Spanish.
